Winner of a Platinum Creative Muse Award, the Nutrislice web-series increased audience and brand engagement, and brought a new humour to a niche product.
The Brief:
Nutrislice, a digital dining solutions and signage company, approached me and my team to create a series of short web animations to increase brand awareness and audience engagement. They wanted to showcase their unique brand identity and inject some fun into their product.
The Direction:
To capture the audience's attention, I needed to make sure the visuals were eye-catching and memorable. But how could we make digital signage for food exciting? My solution was to incorporate classic Looney Tunes visual gags and pop culture references like Mission Impossible and Indiana Jones. By drawing inspiration from classic animation, we were able to create a sense of nostalgia and relatability that connected viewers to the content.
To make the videos visually distinct, we used a monochromatic color palette for each video. This gave us the opportunity to level up the brand's color palette and create a fresh, minimalistic look that stood out. By incorporating contained scenes and strategic white space, we were able to simplify the visual storytelling and ensure the audience could digest the narrative as quickly and seamlessly as possible.
The Challenge:
One of the biggest challenges during the project was the absence of voiceover and the short runtime constraints. We had to convey engaging and informative videos without dialogue, which required careful planning and execution to ensure the message was effectively conveyed through visuals and music alone. The videos needed to be short, only 20-30 seconds, which meant we had to make every second count.
The Result:
All the hard work paid off when the videos became a huge success! The use of classic visual gags created a sense of nostalgia and humor that engaged viewers. The use of music and a monochromatic color palette was effective in capturing the viewer's attention and making the videos visually distinct.
The client was thrilled with the final product, and we were too! The videos won a Platinum Muse Award, a prestigious honor in the advertising industry.
Overall, the Nutrislice Animated Series was a project that successfully achieved its goals and demonstrated the power of effective collaboration and creative execution. Working on this project was a pleasure, and we were able to create something that brought joy and humor to viewers while promoting new technology in a niche space.

Edvoy
Following the journey of a student across the globe, Edvoy brings the exciting adventure of studying abroad to life in a visually stunning way.
Following the journey of a student across the globe, Edvoy brings the exciting adventure of studying abroad to life in a visually stunning way.
The Brief:
We had the pleasure of working with Edvoy, a study abroad platform, to create an animated brand video that would inspire wonder and excitement in viewers, particularly Gen-Z and Zillennials, and encourage them to study abroad.
The Direction:
This project was a perfect fit for me, as a global citizen who has lived and studied abroad. I wanted to capture the joy and thrill of travel in the animation and take the viewer on a journey of discovery. We follow a character as she imagines herself in different locations, and then sets out to explore them in real life.
To visually convey the richness and diversity of the locations, I assigned each one a distinct color palette, using Edvoy's logo as a guide. The rainbow of bright colors in the logo represents the coming together of different cultures, and by using different colors for each location, we were able to highlight the unique character of each place. The use of the red color in the character's hat and phone served as a visual anchor, tying the narrative together.
The Challenge:
To appeal to our target audience, we had to create an animation that was visually stunning and not a typical corporate explainer video. With younger audiences drawn to aesthetics and more visually-driven platforms like TikTok and Instagram, we needed to capture their attention and engage them with a style that would resonate.
The Success:
The video was a smash hit, with over 2.3 million views on the Edvoy YouTube page and countless more on social media. The client was thrilled with the results, and it became a showcase piece for our studio.
Overall, it was a joy to work on this project and collaborate with the talented artists who helped bring my vision to life. Drawing on my personal experience, I was able to create an animation that captured the excitement and beauty of travel, and I hope it will inspire many more people to explore the world and study abroad.

Allotrac
Allotrac marries the vision of the future with the needs of today, and creates an immersive world for audiences.
Allotrac marries the vision of the future with the needs of today, and creates an immersive world for audiences.
The Brief:
We teamed up with Allotrac, a provider of cloud-based transport management systems, to produce a brand animation that not only communicates their unique value proposition but also creates an immersive and unforgettable viewing experience, transporting the audience into the future.
The Direction:
I was so excited to tackle this brief! I knew that showcasing Allotrac's futuristic approach was paramount in conveying their cutting-edge offering. Drawing inspiration from one of my favourite movies, Tron, I integrated the visually striking and immersive world of the film into the animation, imbuing it with a glowing style that guides the audience through a world of trucking.
The Challange:
Bridging the gap between the target audience and this state-of-the-art technology was a critical element of the project. The trucking industry has traditionally relied heavily on paper and analog means of transport management, so crafting a compelling narrative that illustrates the ease and efficacy of a cloud-based solution was integral to the project's success.
The Success:
The client was thrilled with the final product, so much so that they immediately sought future collaborations with our team. The animation garnered significant brand engagement and provided the perfect platform for Allotrac to showcase their game-changing technology.
It was a true pleasure bringing this project to life!
